No Family Forgotten is a community outreach program of We Care Movement, Inc. created to support children and families experiencing housing instability,

• Families living in motels or temporary accommodations
• Parents and guardians experiencing housing instability
• Children whose families are experiencing homelessness
• Families transitioning from shelters or temporary housing

DID YOU KNOW?  many students miss prom each year due to the cost of tickets, attire, and related expenses. Your support helps make this moment possible. The Prom Project helps ensure that financial hardship does not prevent students from attending prom. High school seniors may submit a short essay explaining why they need assistance, and selected students receive help with the cost of their prom tickets. We also provide donated prom gowns and suits to students, including those attending A. Harry Moore School and St. Joseph’s School for the Blind, so every student has an opportunity to celebrate this important milestone with confidence and dignity.

WHO WE SERVE:

We serve high school seniors who face financial barriers and need support covering prom tickets, attire, and related expenses.

What You Drink Matters:  is a public-health awareness initiative supporting New Jersey Senate Bill 4442. The bill would require alcohol warning signs to be updated with current health information, including the risks of prenatal alcohol exposure and the connection between alcohol consumption and certain cancers. Our goal is to ensure customers receive clear, visible information so they can make informed choices about what they drink.

Advocating for tenants rights, education, and housing stability across Georgia  & New Jersey communities, Focusing on protecting renters rights, promoting fair housing  and strengthening tenants voices. Through education, outreach, and direct support, the alliance equips residents with the knowledge and resource needed to navigate housing challenges, prevent displacement, and hold systems accountable. by organizing communities and building partnerships, create safe stable , and equitable housing for all.

KIDZ Business: Earn & Learn

KIDZ Business is a youth entrepreneurship and leadership program that teaches young people how to turn their ideas, talents, and everyday skills into earning opportunities. Through hands-on activities, participants learn budgeting, saving, marketing, customer service, teamwork, and responsible money management.

The program encourages youth to earn money through age-appropriate chores, creative projects, and small-business ventures while developing confidence, responsibility, and leadership skills.

Mobile Laundry Solutions

Since October 2024, Mobile Laundry Solutions has washed more than 3,000 loads of laundry for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and financial hardship.

By bringing free laundry services directly into the community, we help remove barriers to personal hygiene, health, employment, school attendance, and dignity. Participants may also receive laundry bags, hygiene essentials, community-resource referrals, and compassionate support from our outreach team.

Juneteenth: Together We Can

Our Juneteenth initiative brings Jersey City residents together to honor African American history, freedom, culture, and achievement. Through education, music, art, youth activities, and community partnerships, we create opportunities for people of all generations to learn, reflect, and celebrate.

The initiative includes Jersey City’s Freedom Flag Mural installation, a lasting community tribute that recognizes the meaning of Juneteenth and commemorates June 19, 1865—the day freedom was finally announced to enslaved people in Galveston, Texas.

Kidz Trailblazers Foundation

Kidz Trailblazers Foundation is a youth-development initiative that connects young people with equine activities, farm experiences, mentorship, and hands-on learning. Participants build confidence, responsibility, patience, teamwork, and leadership skills while learning to care for horses and safely explore the outdoors.

The program creates meaningful experiences that encourage personal growth, strengthen character, and help young people discover new possibilities for their future.

Keep JC Ours: Preventing Displacement

Keep JC Ours is a community-led initiative dedicated to preventing the displacement of Jersey City homeowners, tenants, seniors, and families. We connect residents with housing resources, financial education, utility assistance, foreclosure and eviction-prevention support, and trusted community referrals.

Through outreach, advocacy, and neighborhood partnerships, we help residents understand their rights, protect their homes, and remain in the communities they helped build.

Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant

The Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is a cultural, educational, and leadership program that celebrates the confidence, talents, heritage, and achievements of young women. Participants develop public-speaking, leadership, and personal-development skills while learning about the history and lasting significance of Juneteenth.

Through mentorship, cultural education, community service, and positive representation, participants compete for scholarships that support their educational goals and future success. The pageant prepares young women to become confident leaders and ambassadors within their communities.
